Description:

This device is applicable to the frost resistance test of concrete with dynamic elastic modulus, weight loss and relative durability index as evaluation indexes. That is, to determine the frost resistance grade of concrete by measuring the resistance of concrete under the repeated action of water and negative temperature, a professional fast freezing and thawing test is conducted. The equipment adopts the method of water freezing andwater melting. The standard concrete test pieces are placed in rubber barrels and soaked in water. Then the rubber barrels containing the test pieces and water are arranged in the test box. The water layer around the test pieces is periodically frozen and dissolved by using the refrigerant asthe circulating medium.

The equipment adopts one box (tank) external circulation method. The test piece placing box is made of high-grade 304 stainless steel. The automatic control system is controlled by industrial computer, with high degree of automation. The control system and freeze-thaw equipment box are installed indoors, and the cold and hot medium box is installed indoors. It consists of an air-cooled condensing unit, a medium pump, a hot medium tank, and a cold medium tank. The cold and hot media are exchanged with the media (antifreeze) in the specimen box through the media pump to freeze and melt the water around the specimen. The control is used to control the cooling and heating temperature of the cold and hot tank, control the starting of the medium pump through the temperature controller, and exchange the cold and hot medium with the medium in the box where the test piece is placed to achieve temperature rise or temperature drop.


The main functions of the system include:

Displaying and recording the central temperature of the specimen and the temperature of the circulating liquid; Freezing and thawing process conversion and circulating liquid temperature control; Control of freeze-thaw cycles; Compressor discharge pressure, suction pressure and motor unit temperature rise protection; Circulating liquid flow protection and over temperature protection; Motor overload protection, the machine can automatically stop running under abnormal conditions such as power failure and water failure.

The whole freeze-thaw test process is fully automatic. In case of failure, photoelectric alarm will be given and corresponding protection will be taken automatically.
