Fineness Gauge double groove
Many types of solid materials must be ground into finer particles for dispersion in fluid equipment. The physical property of the final dispersion is usually called "fineness". It depends not only on the actual size of individual particles, but also on the extent to which they are dispersed. The use of the fineness plate can indicate that there are undesired coarse particles or aggregated particles in the dispersion. It does not measure the size or particle size distribution of the coating. The scraper fineness meter is made in strict accordance with GB / T 1724-2019, ISO 1524 and other standards. It is used to measure the particle size and dispersion degree of pigments and impurities in coatings, paint pastes, inks and other liquids and pastes, so as to control the quality of dispersed products in production, storage and Application, such as paints, plastics, pigments, printing inks, paper, ceramics, medicine, food and other fields. The fineness plate is a flat steel block with grooves on the surface, and the depth of the grooves changes from the maximum at one end to the zero at the other end. Mark one or more scales of groove depth on the steel block to read out the size of the measured particles. The degree of dispersion is expressed by micrometers or "hegman", and the "hegman" value gradually changes from 0 to 8 as the particle size becomes smaller.
