Field Vane Shear Apparatus
Product introduction:
Vane shear apparatus is used to measure the natural shear strength of saturated soft clay on site. For soft clay with high sensitivity, the influence on the strength is very obvious due to the disturbance of soil sampling, so this instrument can be used to obtain more practical strength indicators.
Since this instrument is used to measure the strength index in drilling, it must be used together with drilling equipment. Generally, various depths within 30m can be tested.
Main structure:
This instrument uses the worm fixed on the bottom plate to drive the worm gear to rotate the vane inserted into the soil layer in the borehole to measure the strength of the soil. The strength is calculated according to the deformation of the open steel ring fixed on the worm gear, which is divided into three parts and accessories.
1. The transmission parts are composed of worm, worm gear, open steel ring, swivel seat, base plate and fixed sleeve. The fixed sleeve is provided with a locking device, which can be locked with the base.
2. The base part is composed of a white base, a guide rod support ring, etc. It is a piece connecting the transmission part and the drilling casing. The base and the casing are connected with threads (the threads are processed by the user) and tightened with a tightening shaft.
3. The plate head component is composed of a connecting rod, a clutch gear and a cross plate. The plate head can be freely clutch along the clutch gear. The plate head component is connected to the drilling drill pipe, and the drill pipe is connected to the lower end of the guide rod supported on the support ring.
4. Accessories include guide rod, special key, connector, introduction, wrench, calibration equipment, etc.
