Description:
Used either for rapid determination of percentages of flat and elongated particles in coarse aggregate fractions of 3/8" (9.5 mm) or larger. Consisting of 8"x16" (203.2x406.4 mm) base plate with rubber feet, two fixed posts and a 12" (305 mm) pivoting arm, allowing ratios of 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5 to be obtained.

Proportional Caliper for Aggregate Shape and Size

The proportional caliper device consists of a steel base with two fixed posts and a swinging arm between them.The arm axis is positioned so that the ends maintain a constant ratio. The gauge can be set to ratios of 2:1 or 3:1. The fixed posts and the ends of the swinging arms have been hardened. Zinc plated finish.
Length Gauge
Used for determining the elongation index of aggregates. Aggregates particles are considered elongated when their
length is more than 1.8 of their nominal size. Wooden base, brass plate and steel pins.
