Zahn Cup
It is designed according to ASTM D 4212 and is used to measure the viscosity of Newtonian or quasi Newtonian liquids. It can be used in workshops, factories, laboratories and other places to quickly check and adjust the viscosity of a variety of different fluids. Proper cup number shall be selected before use to control the outflow time between 20 seconds and 80 seconds. The viscosity cup is widely used in the ink and printing industry.Every Cairn cup is strictly calibrated with Newton standard oil traceable to NIST oil before leaving the factory. Each cup is marked with the corresponding calibration coefficient "K".Each dip cup has a 12 inch long ring handle, which can be held by hand to immerse the dip cup into the liquid container. There is a finger ring shaped ring in the center of the handle, which is convenient for the immersion cup to maintain a vertical position during use.For a specific immersion cup, the results obtained should be expressed in "Zeiss" at a specified temperature. Please refer to the following formula (ASTM D 4212) to convert "zean seconds" to centistokes.V=k(t-c)V - kinematic viscosity, CST; T - outflow time, s; k. C - corresponding constantNote: centistoke × Specific gravity = centipoise
