1、 Scope of application

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T0653-2011 of JTG E20-2011 "Test Code for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering", a transportation industry standard of the People's Republic of China. Suitable for determining the charge properties of various emulsified asphalt particle ions, namely the types of cations and anions, in accordance with the requirements specified in T0653-2011 "Emulsified Asphalt Particle Charge Test" standard.

2、 Instruments and materials

1. Beaker; 1000mL.

2. Electrode plates: 2 pieces, made of copper, each plate is 100mm long, 10mm wide, and 1mm thick.   

3. DC power supply: 6V,

4. Test time 3 minutes

5. Filter: The mesh size is 1.18mm

6. Other: gasoline, cleaning solution, etc.

7. Instrument size: 25x30x27cm
