Description:

Hot asphalt (such as 150~160 ℃) will undergo intense heat exchange when encountering a small amount of cold water (2~3%), which will instantly vaporize the cold water, leading to the "foam" phenomenon of asphalt. Generally speaking, asphalt with "foam" is called foam asphalt. In the process of "foam", the volume of asphalt rapidly expands to more than ten or even dozens of times of the original, and the viscosity is greatly reduced, which is conducive to mixing with aggregates. Therefore, foam asphalt is very suitable for cold recycling technology and warm mixing technology in road engineering. The foam asphalt technology originated from the United States, but with the implementation of the Technical Specification for Highway Asphalt Pavement Recycling (JTG F41-2008) issued by the Ministry of China, the foam asphalt technology has also made

considerable progress and development in China.

The foam asphalt mixer is a double horizontal shaft forced mixer used for the foaming machine. Its main feature is sufficient mixing, which can ensure the uniformity of the mixture and simulate the large double horizontal axis forced mixing plant used in actual production very well.
